Optimal schemes for installing vibration acceleration sensors, a device for monitoring the stator core tightening forces, and diagnostic procedures have been developed. To confirm the theoretical positions, experiments were conducted on a physical model of the final zone of the stator core of a turbogenerator. The influence of the development of pressing defects of the tooth zone of the core on the harmonics of vibrations of the fundamental frequency of electromagnetic forces is established.
