The article presents the basic building principles of the simulation model of the price formation processes on the electricity market of Ukraine. The requirements for the interaction between price formation processes when modeling segments of the electricity market of Ukraine are determined. The functions of the simulation model design and its information architecture are given. It was determined that the implementation of a simulation system for the electricity market of Ukraine should be carried out using the principles of designing of expert systems with discrete-event character of calculations that are distributed in time of price formation processes.
